A Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) has a fiduciary obligation to act at all times for the sole benefit and interest of their clients. Many individuals at well-known investment firms carry brokerage licenses (Series 6, 7, & 63 are the most common) issued by their regulatory organization and are licensed to sell investment to you, the client. In many cases, compensation differences create incentives and conflicts of interest. Styre Wealth is not an investment broker. We are an independent Registered Investment Adviser and act as a fiduciary on behalf of our clients. We take this responsibility very seriously.
Initial engagement for new clients most commonly develops with a small group of professionals in the areas of investment management and financial planning. This relationship grows through regular contact and a required in-depth annual investment review. As your strategy and needs develop, additional team members will work with you based on their specialization. As a growing, boutique wealth management firm, we find that nearly all our team members develop a thorough knowledge regarding the needs and circumstances for each client. This creates strong relationships and gives us a distinct advantage through unmatched responsiveness and quality execution.
You may view your accounts and performance at any time via our secure client portal. You will also be able to access, quarterly performance reports, monthly statements and tax documents.
We are a comprehensive wealth management firm that actively manages investments for our clients. After we conduct a thorough due diligence process with each new family or business, we establish an Investment Policy that directs our role as an Investment Advisor and specifies each client’s level of service. Once the Investment Policy is established, our firm chooses the securities that will be held in each client account based on the client’s unique objectives, history, and tolerance or desire for risk. This means that the day-to-day investment decisions are left to the professionals at our firm, which allows each client to invest their time in the activities most valuable to them.
In our investment management capacity, we only charge and receive fees as a percentage of the assets we manage. The level of fees we charge for investment management services is listed on our Form ADV 2A, which will be given to each new client, can be found online via the sec.gov website, or be provided upon request. Individual fees can vary for each family and are primarily dependent on account size and strategy. Fee break-points are available as account size increases and lower fees are available for less complex strategies. We also do not receive any transaction fees or commissions from trading client accounts and work diligently to minimize trading costs and limit the amount of fees assessed by third parties. As a Registered Investment Adviser and fiduciary, we’re working hard for your best interests.
